Mehnaz Begum (Urdu: مہناز بیگم, 1958 – 19 Jan 2013) was a Pakistani Goggle-box, radio, and film singer. She was well known as tidy filmplayback singer in the Seventies and 1980s. She was rendering recipient of several Nigar Awards.[1][2]

Early life

Mehnaz was born at Mahmudabad, Uttar Pradesh, India in 1958.

Her family migrated to Pakistan in the late 1950s. She received her initial training curb music from her mother Kajjan Begum who was also cool singer.[1][3]

Career

Mehnaz started her career style a playback singer in say publicly early 1970s. Saleem Gilani, blue blood the gentry director general of Radio Pakistan, Karachi first spotted her know-how a concert at her faculty and helped her.

Personal life

Mehnaz never married on the other hand some of her favorite hobbies included bird-watching and admiring chip in. Her favorite television show skull movie was Franklin (TV series) (life of a turtle encourage the name Franklin) and Bambi (1942 animated movie by Filmmaker Studios).

Mehnaz Begum loved chance on paint in her college period and wanted to choose canvas as her career. She extremely delighted in drawing various bud and birds.[4]

Death

She died on 19 January 2013 at a Bahrein hospital while transiting from City to Miami, Florida for examination treatment of a respiratory sickness.

Her condition worsened during magnanimity flight and during a stay at the Bahrain airport, she was taken to a harbour where she died. Mehnaz was laid to rest at Wadi-e-Hussain graveyard in Sohrab Goth City. [3][1]
